Who We Are?
Our Mission
Cheriehomes global vision sustainable initivatives is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization committed to promoting a just, equitable, and sustainable society. Our overarching mission is to address gender-based injustices that impact the environmental, economic, and social rights of women, children, and youth.
Founded on the belief that sustainable development cannot be achieved without gender equality, CGVSI works at the intersection of environmental justice and gender equity. We recognize the disproportionate impact environmental degradation and climate change have on women and marginalized communities, and we actively engage in programs that empower these groups to become agents of change.
Since its establishment on February 15, 2022, CGVSI has consistently worked to promote inclusive development, with a particular focus on women, youth, and children. The organization operates across all 21 Local Government Areas in Adamawa State and maintains branch offices in Nasarawa State and Abuja. Over time, CGVSI has built a strong reputation for impactful programming, deep community trust, and a high level of institutional accountability.

To achieve lasting social and environmental transformation by equipping women and youth with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to lead sustainable development, promote equity, and build resilient communities.
